Despite the changing weather and the fact that the cherry blossoms has not fully open yet, this years Asahi Nihongo Hanami party was a huge success.

Around 60 people attended the event that was held at the Maizuru park on the 26th of march. Everybody was sitting on tatami mats in a huge circle, the middle was stashed with delicious food and snacks that the guests brought along.

We played three games, including a Bingo in which our Japanese and international guests got to know each other better, a lemonade drinking competition and last but not least, a Janken tournament, which was highly exciting as everybody participated.

The games were a lot of fun and everybody was able to make new friends and connections with students and non-students of our school.
Thanks to everybody who joined us this year and helped us making this wonderful experience possible, we hopefully see you again next year!
