The School Location – Easy to Access, Easy to Explore

Asahi Nihongo is located between Akasaka and Tenjin station – a perfect spot to start your tour through Fukuoka City. This is Fukuoka’s most exciting place because the busiest areas like Tenjin, Oyafuko street, Daimyo and Imaizumi are just a short walk away. You can also easily access department stores like Parco, Iwataya and Big Camera. In the Daimyo area, you can find a lot of small and stylish shops, bars and restaurants. We recommend Oyafuko and Nishi street for Karaoke or for just having a good time.

Study Material

Japanese_Short_Term_Course_in_10_Oct_04 Study Materials

Our school uses the “Minna no Nihongo” and “Marugoto” series of Japanese textbooks.
You may also bring your own book if you are using another series. We will adapt accordingly.
We highly recommend students to learn Hiragana and Katakana beforehand.
This will make reading the textbook much easier.
Sophisticated Teaching Method

Japanese_Short_Term_Course_in_10_Oct_05 Sophisticated Teaching MethodWe teach using the “communicative approach” by teaching Japanese in Japanese. The focus lies on developing your ability to speak and understand Japanese. You learn languages most efficiently by communicating in an enjoyable and engaging way. We believe students should talk at least 70% during lessons. Continuous practice is the best way to improve your language skills.
