I did an internship at the Japanese company called “Global Koryu Center”.
I have been working there for three weeks from July 13th to July 30th.
The company is located in the north part of Fukuoka located nearby Tenjin, where they have several offices and classrooms.
Global Koryu center creates opportunities to practice language skills by organizing cultural activities from different countries in and around Fukuoka. Their purpose is to create an opportunity to meet and make friends from different countries.
As an intern, I had the opportunity to do a lots of different works. For example I create a crepe party event as well as giving French lessons. I also wrote some articles on the blogs about the several activities and create flyers.
I have learned much about the Japanese work environment and what is important when working in Japan.
I have also learned to think things through before acting and to always consider what effects my actions might have on future events and on other people. It is important to communicate with people and to learn about them.
I think the most important skills at “Global Koryu Center” is creativity, language experiences and communication. If you’ve got questions don’t hesitate to ask to your colleagues.
They are very kind and always here to help you if you need help.
Three weeks went very fast but I will come back here for sure soon.
I am so glad I had the opportunity to work at this company.
