Sayonara Lunch and Certificate Ceremony

After two months of intensive Japanese studies, our UTAS students from Tasmania successfully finished their course today. Congratulations!

To celebrate, they went to Shabuzen, a traditional Japanese restaurant, to have their official Sayonara lunch (goodbye lunch) together. The menu included different Japanese dishes like Tempura, Sashimi and sweet dessert.

After the delicious meal, everyone received their certificate in a small ceremony and held a small speech about their time in Fukuoka. Everyone’s Japanese improved tremendously during these two months, and we are very proud of them!

We hope they enjoy their remaining time in Japan and we look forward to seeing them again in the future!
