First opened in 1991 on the Keyaki-dori street, a cultural hotspot of Fukuoka City, Gallery Moryta focuses on modern artists and artworks, introducing their originality and viewpoints. Moryta is not just about exhibiting the art though, as they also organize artist talks, live music and other events to create a culturally exciting space. Famous modern artists like Ryosuke Yasumoto, Shinichi Saito, Chiaki Horikoshi, Valentino Moradei, Akiko Takeuchi and many more all had their work displayed at Moryta.
