Asahi Beer Factory

Asahi means sunrise in Japanese. A fitting name for our school where so many of us have learned to read, write and speak the language of Japan, the land of the rising sun.

It also happens to be the name of one of Japan’s leading beer companies. Asahi Breweries. Asahi holds around 40% of the Japanese beer market. This alone is reason enough to have a look, but because it shares a part of our name it is almost a necessity. Joking aside though, it is a rather interesting cultural experience full of interesting facts and figures. Not to mention the complementary beers after the tour!

Today we went with a good group of students and our designated driver for the day, Alexander. We had loads of fun, learned some interesting things and had a couple of drinks. No beer for Alex though, but thankfully Rani did not drink either so they could enjoy a great number of non-alcoholic drinks that Asahi also makes. Good stories and laughter on the way back to school. Please join us next time! You won’t regret it.
