Today one of our students attended a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

The host and course leader welcomed the guest, explained a lot about the utensils and showed how to prepare the tea properly. Afterwards, our student also had to chance to prepare tea by herself and eat some delicious Japanese sweets with it.

Tea ceremony is a fundamental part of the Japanese culture as it seen as a great sign of hospitality and moreover one of the favorite hobbies of young Japanese women.
